The brief for the Hotel Essence Photography site included complete corporate identity - logo, business stationary, printed books and website design. The subject matter - stunning images of the world's top hotels -meant that the design needed to be very carefully applied. The images had to stand out - not the site design.
The client wanted a hand-crafted site that would allow the photographs to stand out and portray the global nature of the business. Aside from the images, no colour was used in the site, apart from purple to highlight text links. Using shades of gray and plenty of white space the design team came up with a very clean style that they then followed through into printed material (business cards and an 84 page book). The technical team worked against the clock to make the site live in time for the clients very important deadline.
