Office move

After many years in the Centro Commercial de Guadalmina and the equivalent in years of growth Andalucia Web Solutions has moved to new state-of-the-art offices in Estepona's port. For the official inauguration the office proved to be the perfect party venue, and while the bar served Mojito and Seabreeze cocktails, Terra Sana tempted the guests with an endless supply of culinary delights. A suitably Andalucian ambience was created by the superb classical guitars of Daniel Duo and award winning photographer Michelle Chaplow's images of Spain looked stunning on the big screen in the new photographic studio. The event was organised by Samantha from Big Blue Fish Events, a party planner trained at The Savoy London. A photo gallery of party images can be viewed here.

New Server Migration Complete

In order to provide a more robust service for the hosting of websites we have upgraded our servers. At Andalucia Web Solutions we know how important client’s emails and websites are hence the reason why we have built in multiple redundancies. The main server has a second copy hard disk (RAID) which can be used should the server hard disk fail. We have also a 'failover solution' so that your website is copied onto another server every night. Should the main server fail the second one will kick in within minutes. To provide additional protection from hardware, electrical or network failure at the data centre our main server resides in a different location in the UK from the failover server, consequently enabling us to continue to provide a 99.9% uptime to all our clients. Espagne

Congratulations to our in-house photographer Michelle Chaplow, who was commissioned by the prestigious publishing house Vilo to produce a 300 page coffee table book on Spain. The book "Espagne" was launched at the Frankfurt bookfair and can be purchased on www.amazon.fr and www.fnac.fr.
